The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for overseeing the quality control program for the FLETC - Federal Law Enforcement Training Center contract. The primary goal of this role is to ensure that the products, services, and processes of the organization meet the required standards of quality and that the organization is meeting the customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to government Contractor Defect Reports (CDRs)
- Resolving all issues reported by the government to stay in compliance
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control policies and procedures
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the quality control program, including inspections, tests, and audits
- Conduct regular internal and external quality control audits to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures
- Develop and maintain a system for monitoring and evaluating quality control data, and report findings to senior management
- Identify and investigate quality control issues and recommend solutions to improve the quality of products, services, and processes
- Participate in all Government inspections and sign off on the inspections reports
- Participates in all phases of custodial work required to bring the buiding to standard
- Inspects janitorial work in progress and upon completion
- Inspects buildings and equipment to determine the need for cleaning and/or repair
- Reports the need for equipment/building repairs
- Develop and implement training programs to educate employees on quality control procedures and best practices
- Participates in weekly management status meetings
Qualifications:
- Associate in a related field, Bachelor preferred
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in janitorial services
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze complex data and draw meaningful conclusions
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and presentation tools including PowerPoint
- Knowledge of quality control methodologies and best practices, including ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, or Six Sigma is desired.
