Job Description

The Associate Project Manager will oversee the the evening shift operations of the janitorial contract for Fletc - Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. The selected individual must have a minimum of three (3) consecutive years of supervisory experience in janitorial services and leading a staff of over eighty (40) janitors. The Associate Project Manager is expected to be on call twenty-four (24) hours a day to handle emergencies.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all administrative tasks necessary for the day-to-day operations of the project office
  • Responsible for maintaining project inventory including Government Furnished Equipments (GFEs)
  • Assist with ordering and maintaining the appropriate tools, equipment, supplies, and other materials needed for cleaning and maintaining buildings and/or surrounding areas
  • Responsible for managing vendors and contractors and tracking all project costs
  • Assist with maintaining records, preparing activity reports, and requisitions for supplies and equipment when necessary
  • Prepares and submits weekly inventory reports to management
  • Monitors government computer (SASS) for training schedules and assist with adjusting daily cleaning schedules as needed
  • Assist Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and monitoring evening shift janitorial staff
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager on all government communications 
  • Participates in all phases of custodial work as needed
  • Assist with developing training materials
  • Assist with training staffs on the proper use of equipment and materials
  • Complies with all established company policies and procedures while upholding the security and confidentiality of documents and data
  • Participates in weekly status meetings

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ supervisory experience in janitorial services
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Knowledge of how to effectively schedule workers
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including, Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint
  • Ability to organize and establish work processes
  • Must be able to obtain a clear criminal background
  • Obtain and maintain the appropriate Security Clearance if required to access the worksite
